Sycamore High School (SHS) is a four-year public high school in the north-east suburbs of Cincinnati, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Sycamore Community School District. The current building was built in 1974 in a modern architectural style employing the progressive and experimental open classroom concept wherein no permanent walls separated the classrooms originally. It was built to accommodate 2000 students and has since been expanded. More walls have been added as the school has been renovated.〔"Schools Restructure Classrooms", Kranz, Cindy, 'Cincinnati Enquirer' Nov. 4, 2002 http://www.enquirer.com/editions/2002/11/04/loc_open04.html〕 ==Academics== Sycamore offers forty-two accelerated and Advanced Placement courses and seven global languages.
